    Ecstasy Senior Class Assin Manso Field trip Recap: 2024

    Learning our story and connecting all dots. Join Nana Gye Nyame, Nana Adwoa Ampomah and the Senior class of ’24 on Part 2 of their first ever trip to Assin Manso Slave river. The students learn how Diaspora retrace their ancestral ties back to the Continent through this historical landmarked transatlantic slave route. Also called, “The Last Bath”, the enslaved upon receiving this ritualistic bath, were transported to nearby slave ports to await their final departure to the Americas.

    Donor Highlights features Ohiaba Village Elder Simiyah. Also known as “Auntie Simiyah”, Auntie is one of the Elders making up the Ohiaba Diaspora Community at the City of Zion. Always willing to share her Love and Godly Wisdom nuggets within the community; Elder Simiyah has always been on-deck to support Mikyael and Keziyah with anything they request. Enjoy this lovely presentation from her Gift that keeps on Giving! We Love you Auntie Simiyah!
